Position Overview

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will gather, document, and translate requirements into actionable insights, ensuring projects and systems align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure solution alignment.
• Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and workflow improvements.
• Support testing, validation, and user acceptance phases.
• Monitor and evaluate project outcomes against business objectives.
• Provide recommendations to improve processes, systems, and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with requirements gathering tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello).
• Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.

Contract Type & Budget

• Contract role via GigWay (hybrid/remote depending on client).
• Duration: 6–12 months, with possibility of extension.
• Commitment: ~20 hours per week.
• Budget: R350 – R550 per hour (market-related, depending on experience and certifications).
