Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Business Development professional. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities to grow our customer base and revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage potential business partners, clients, and customers through targeted outreach and networking
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies to generate leads and drive business growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, while also expanding our client base and fostering new partnerships
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
- Analyze and report on sales and business development efforts, providing insights for future strategies
- Work closely with the product and operations teams to ensure a seamless and efficient onboarding process for new clients
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of our platform, services, and value proposition, effectively conveying this to potential clients
- Represent GigWay at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our brand and establish connections
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the gig economy or freelance industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of driving business growth
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment, with strong self-motivation and determination to achieve results
- Proficiency in utilizing CRM software and other sales tools
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
