To support our clients effectively, we are building a team of GigWay Administrators – Employer Support, who will play a critical role in assisting employers to get the most value from the platform.Position Overview
As a GigWay Administrator – Employer Support, you will be responsible for assisting employers with all platform-related activities, from setting up their profiles and posting jobs, to managing communication and handling administrative tasks. This role ensures that employers experience a smooth and professional journey on GigWay while focusing on hiring the best freelancers.Key Responsibilities- Support employers in creating and managing their GigWay profiles.
- Assist employers in drafting, formatting, and posting job descriptions.
- Help employers search for and shortlist freelancers based on project requirements.
- Facilitate communication between employers and freelancers when required.
- Provide guidance on GigWay packages, pricing, and processes.
- Manage administrative tasks such as contract setup, time tracking support, and invoice coordination.
- Respond to employer queries via email, phone, or chat in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure employers are educated on GigWay’s features and best practices for hiring.
- Escalate complex issues to the GigWay management team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Administrative or virtual assistant experience (preferred).
- Ability to write and edit professional job postings.
- Comfortable with online platforms, dashboards, and digital tools.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple employer accounts.
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude.
- Part-time or freelance contract via GigWay.
- Commitment: ~15–25 hours per week (depending on workload).
- Budget: R150 – R250 per hour (market-related, depending on experience).
