About the Role

GigWay is recruiting five (5) professional and reliable e-hailing drivers for one of our trusted clients operating across Gauteng. The ideal candidates will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations, maintaining a high standard of customer service, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up passengers from designated locations and transport them safely to their destinations.
• Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism at all times.
• Use navigation apps to determine the best routes and avoid traffic delays.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Report any incidents, mechanical issues, or delays to management promptly.

Requirements

• Valid South African Driver’s Licence (Code 8/B).
• Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) is mandatory.
• Must have experience as an e-hailing driver (Bolt, Uber, or similar platforms).
• Must be based in Gauteng and familiar with local routes.
• Clean driving record and excellent safety awareness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and customer-focused.

Preferred Qualifications

• Own vehicle (advantageous but not required).
• Experience with digital apps and smartphones.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
